Beeston. What an amazing place Beeston is, an area containing 16,000 people just south of Leeds city center and of course, home to the world famous Leeds United Football Club. Thats about it really…
ALso home to the Hunslet Hawks if your a rugby fan !
Has a family we have been Holidaying in Beeston for one week during the summer for many many years. Its a great place to visit but I have to say that the choice of accomodation is the only thing that lets it down.
In my opinion what the area needs is for some forward thinking buisnessman to build maybe one or two new Hotels & maybe a Nightclub in the area. That really would get the place up there with the Skegnesses of this world.
Also the addition of some shops that could stay open as late as five on a Saturday & stock essential holiday items like low quality overpriced tacky clothing or even pot noodles, now that would make me think of extending our stays to eight days.
Visit Beeston, when questioned on leaving all of our visitors were extremely happy.
